Amid the silence,
the leaves sough is blown by the wind and soft ripple sound of water accompany.
The giant steep stone slope look dashing and sturdy, standing elegantly
wherever our eyes can see. Clear water flows quietly and slowly, green and blue
in the midday, then orange in the dim twilight. The breeze is so mild, the pure
air is so relieved. The village remains quiet, but it's a soothing silence.
I think it's
quite familiar for us to see white sand beaches. And I did not expect that
there was also a river with a nuance resembling white sand beach, of course
with different types of material or stones. I can see a riverbank with abundant
white gravel, which in my opinion, it's such a same level of white sand beach.
Something is so unique and special.
But then I
thought further, why did that happen? My strongest suspicion is: Type of stone
in the area. The river is surrounded by limestone hills, answered already ...
the white color of the rocks and gravel in the riverbank is apparently the
white limestone.
The limestone
hills soar touched the sky in the area are indeed on both sides of the river.
So the river divides between them, revealing a view of the solid limestone
cliffs. I recorded this scene downstream, and I'm sorry that this is not the
professional landscape photography. But the most important thing for me is
able to capture this kind of beautiful moment and share it.
Observing these
images, present a tropical atmosphere that is bright enough for nature
photography, and I did not edit them, because I deliberately let them be
presented as they are. The most interesting part is the riverbank with white
gravel which occupies somewhat a large area, this is exactly what I said
earlier, which is commensurate with the white sand beach.
Meanwhile, larger
white limestone rocks are here and there, giving more fascinating impression.
After all, these are such river views as we usually find it everywhere. And the
white color of the limestone makes it more unique and attractive ......
This river is
located in a fairly remote area far from the bustling city. Therefore, there is
no much infrastructure built there. Even to cross a river more than 50 meters
long, only a small suspension bridge is available. The construction is very
simple, consisting of a mixture of wood and iron frame, where the wooden deck
is hung below the steel suspension cables on steel vertical suspenders. Of
course, the construction and size is rather inconvenient for the people who
live there. A bridge that is too narrow so that it can only be crossed by
bicycle or motorcycle one after another, and certainly it will not fit if they
have to pass with another in the opposite direction. But, the small yellow
suspension bridge actually has more value on the photographic side.
Frankly, it
provides a more dramatic visualization. And it combined with the river scenery
below, the small yellow bridge can even be a very good focal point . For me,
who don't need to cross through it every day to go to the office, crossing a
small bridge that is very sensitive to the wind blowing gives a rare experience
with the deeper impression. Horrified enough to walk on it, because the
vibration (or shaking and swaying) caused by our footsteps are responded by the
crackling sounds of old wooden deck .... giving a very unique sensation. It's
kind of scary, triggers adrenaline, which is also miraculously fun!
